With the performance of a type of activity 1.3.1. "Final cessation of fishing activities" is aimed at adapting the fishing fleet of the Republic of Bulgaria to the fish stocks in accordance with the objectives of the General Commission for Fisheries in the Mediterranean Sea (GFCM) - GFCM/37/2013/2 regarding guidelines for the management of fishing capacity in the field of application of GKRSM. Through the implementation of the activity, a balanced fishing fleet will be achieved, which will sustainably exploit the available fish resources, as well as the preservation of biodiversity in the Black Sea and the Danube River and for the protection of vulnerable species.
